Management Reply to Review We appreciate your feedback. The marriage scene depicts the way life was for the convicts and this is done is a very appropriate age related way that is always enjoyed by the audience. It is disappointing to hear that you did not enjoy the marriage scene. If in the future you do not wish for this scene to be there, you can always speak to our stage manager on the event day and ask for this scene to be blocked.

    Educational Value

Great performance and students enjoyed the show very much. For the future maybe avoid the students being involved in the marriage section, because the students who were selected did get teased and were embarrassed by the situation

    Educational Value

Whilst the acting was superb and the accents/language authentic of the time period and nationality, some students did comment that the actor of 'convict James Murphy' was difficult to understand. I agree that often some of the historical facts that were mentioned were 'lost in translation' and this did impact on the students understanding of some of the factual knowledge. Perhaps this is something to consider for the future and mention to the actors that the accent could be toned down a little to ensure everyone can understand. Otherwise, we thought the show was fantastic and look forward to booking again for 2020.
