The children did not sit down for the incursion and we all had a great time.

The children asked us if they can do it again next year.

Another year for us and the show has improved even more. We have had the show for 5 years in a row and each year our students are impressed and our teachers. The new version meeting the national curriculum helps us a lot. The students of last year remembered the show and wanted to be part of it this year again. Thank you one more time.

Best show ever. Loved it. So funny. I think the gold mining was really hard for them in the past.

Well written for the students to understand and we were easily able to use the show to do further learning in class. I was astonished to see how the students remembered so many of the things that happened in the show. Would have been very hard to have achieved the same result in class using only Black Line Masters and the whiteboards.

The children were always moving and doing something at different times. We had a very large group and the people doing the show were able to handle the large group very well.

Our students are still talking about the show in term 3 when we had the show last term.

Supported our classroom lessons. Our students are from a non english speaking background and they were able to remember a lot of little things from the show that was very helpful in our class lessons

There was lot of child involvement. Our students do have behavioural problems and to keep them occupied for the entire show was very nice. I take my hat off for the cast and crew who did a wonderful job to engage them.

There was good information connecting to current research tasks in class. Good historical information regarding the goldrush with specific dates and names of actual people. Excellent props for the students to see and use, Full audience participation particularly around mining techniques and living experiences on the goldfields. The use of humour was helpful to keep students engaged.

Feedback from the studenrs was that they liked the full audience participation. They enjoyed the role playing.

The audience mostly enjoyed the production. They thought it was relevant, funny and engaging. Perhaps another actor could have given the show some more depth Giving the students a hands on real life mining experience reinforce life on the goldfields.The venue was quite hot and stuffy, although it is difficult to manage the weather.

The production crew were very friendly and professional and made the set up/down very easy.

1.There needs to be some flexible arrangements as far as using dropbox. Qld state school site actually blocks this.

It was excellent. The content was highly appropriate but I feel that the comedy part could have been condensed. The set up and pack up time were extensive and I didn't think the pack up would take so long which impacted on other events not able to take place in the venue.

Fantastic idea really engaged students

They thanked the teachers and said well done for organising and giving students the opportunity to see such a great show which helped them with the test and assignments after the show.

The children felt like they were "in the moment" when stories were told. They thoroughly enjoyed volunteering for the various acting parts. It was a fun, humorous performance and the costumes and props were superb. Thank-you for giving the grade 5's such a memorable show..
