Another Informative and interesting show.

Contacting Iconic Performances and being advised of what type of show we would require and booking it was excellent The show was brilliant and very informative. The students loved the interactive nature and were able to learn in a fun and engaging way. Unfortunately there was some confusion regarding payment. This was mainly centered on us needing a tax invoice but only receiving a booking invoice initially. There were a number of queries from SJA and Iconic Performances that lasted for a few weeks. In addition there was quite a number of admin fees added onto the initial price which totaled just over $200. Deposit was paid on time. We received the tax invoice for the remaining amount via fax. This was then paid. A suggestion would be to email the tax invoice instead of fax. The show you put together is a very professional and very well thought out production which captivated the audience and meant they learnt quite a-lot. I would recommend Iconic Performances to anyone, just need to ensure accounts department runs smoothly. Cheers, Tony Barnes

I wasn't at the show this time, but we book it every year. This year my other teachers who watched the show were once more impressed with the quality of the show and the education content in it.

The children love the interaction. There are so many children who are chosen to do things that are children don't stop talking about it after the show.

It would be great when the audio spoken parts came on if they could not be with an American accent as well as some of those pre recorded parts were spoken at an unusually slow pace.

I could see our students were engaged most of the time but were starting to get restless towards the end. There were parts that could have been sped up - shorter and snappy, as there were bits where there was a slight pause and didn't feel like the script flowed. Also the American accent and slow pace of the prerecorded parts was not authentic at all - PLEASE change - should have been an Australian accent, especially as it was based on the Australian gold rush. On another note - all your emails kept going to my junk folder as Iconic is also an online shopping site. Not sure what you can do about that. I also had issues with your online chat - I waited for an hour one day - getting messages saying that my request was in a queue. I ended up giving up in the end and had to call the next day.

I was worried that the show would not be interactive, but when the show was here it was better than we all expected. The children and staff loved the show so much that they students asked to have it again. One of our teachers was impressed with the amount of educational content and how the whole thing was written about what we were teaching.

Better than i expected. it was always interesting and kept the children engaged all the time.

I loved it, the man wanting gold was funny.

My assistant principal was worried about the price of the show. But when we had it, the price of the show is worth it. Our students come from a low financial area and it was hard to convince parents to pay. After the show, we had parents tell us that their child has one of the best school day and couldn't stop talking about the excursion.

Certain parts were difficult for students to understand because of characters' accents, especially for students who use English as their second language.

I enjoyed the performance very much because it was very entertaining and funny because all the students were involved in the performance and you really felt like you were there. One of the main reasons why I like it was because of the setting and props in the performance. I did enjoy the performance because as well as being informative it was entertaining and funny. We got to understand the characters personality as well. The only thing that was bad was that because they spoke in a accent sometimes I couldn’t understand what they were saying. I thought that the performance was really good. It was really entertaining and funny to watch. It also taught me a lot like I learnt that gold is twice as heavy as led and that gold can be found in specimens. The only minor thing was that it was a bit hard to understand them because of their accents. Otherwise wise the performance was amazing.

Have experienced the show before, first time at this school. In past performances I've seen a male and female character. The post assessment I did with my students this year (two male characters) indicated the students did not have as good an understanding of the female perspective.. One male did speak about female roles, but the kids didn't absorb much of it. In addition, I'd LOVE to see the aboriginal perspective brought into the show.

First time I've seen the show with an interactive MC, the children seemed to enjoy it.

Loved the experience, got a lot out of it, they were engaged for the whole time. Difficult to understand one actors Irish accent.
