Contacting Iconic Performances and being advised of what type of show we would require and booking it was excellent The show was brilliant and very informative. The students loved the interactive nature and were able to learn in a fun and engaging way. Unfortunately there was some confusion regarding payment. This was mainly centered on us needing a tax invoice but only receiving a booking invoice initially. There were a number of queries from SJA and Iconic Performances that lasted for a few weeks. In addition there was quite a number of admin fees added onto the initial price which totaled just over $200. Deposit was paid on time. We received the tax invoice for the remaining amount via fax. This was then paid. A suggestion would be to email the tax invoice instead of fax. The show you put together is a very professional and very well thought out production which captivated the audience and meant they learnt quite a-lot. I would recommend Iconic Performances to anyone, just need to ensure accounts department runs smoothly. Cheers, Tony Barnes

I would have liked to see a female represented. The last performance we had had one and it added a lot to the presentation.

Some kid went home and complained about the I'm too sexy song!

I loved today, it was the best day I've had a school.

I am not sure the paper work said it would take 3 hours to clean up. It wasn't a big deal but we had planned to do something in the hall after the show.

At our school we were very pleased with the curriculum covered. Tge students learned many historical facts as well as life lessons on bullying or lying. Students learned about oral language and cultural contexts.

I think it was optimum.

Some jokes were cringe worthy (that was the culture) At times too loud

Despite the performance being excellent the accounts department were less than impressed with the process. We booked fairly last minute (2 weeks in advance) and the invoice was received two days before it was due. As a large school and company it is simply not that easy to process them that quickly. It is pretty poor that we were charged an extra fee given there was so little time given from your end to organise payment.

We had some of our younger classes join. It was nice to see that they were also included in the show. Sometimes the sound was loud.

We really enjoyed the show but the sound was a little loud. The fantastic convict was very good but due to his accent the children had trouble understanding some of his dialogue at the beginning of the show. Our students have very little exposure to live shows so this was perfect for them.Maybe rehearsing it with them a little more would have helped. Really brought the content to life for the students.

The show really delivered on its promise of being 'interactive'. The students were up and down to the stage area and the actors were up in the audience! Almost every student had the opportunity to participate in some way.

The students loved the show and are still talking about it today! Their own words to describe it were 'surprising', 'alive', 'captivating', 'unpredictable' and 'entertaining'. I think it will stay in their minds for a long time to come!

My only negative: It would be nice to have one contact person right from the beginning. Each time that I emailed, I was dealt with by a different event manager. It would be nice to have an email address and contact number for one person throughout the whole process.

I always appreciate the historical accuracy of the shows.

We two teachers thought it was an excellent idea to get the classes marching around while the scene change was undertaken. It's certainly better than having them sit the whole time.

Some of the children questioned whether the marines were as harsh as the show made them seem, so the production seemed to stimulate their curiosity beyond what we have read and discussed in class. I did intend to ask the class further what they thought, but did not have time for such a discussion today.

Thank you for taking note of my previous comments, where I have suggested that the content was sometimes a little too bawdy for this age group. I felt that, this year, the production was not inappropriate at any time.

We book every year and every year the team at Iconic come up with better ways to do the show. Thank you again.

The students were very enthusiastic to join in and enjoyed joining in immensely.

The convict was funny and the sergeant was very loud and cranky! The students all enjoyed the show and could relate to many aspects of the performance considering the curriculum they have been taught already and are able to recall things from the performance for things they are learning after the performance.

I booked 2 shows for our year 1 and 2 rooms. We were studying Past and Present. The classroom and the experience were really good and helpful.

I thought the Sergeant could be tougher.
