Set in the comfort of some of the most elegant venues in Australia, with Australian Folk Songs, our unique Australian Themed Show you and the entire room will be doing the Convict Caterpillar in no time. This dinner theatre show is the way to spend a good night out and it is available across the whole of Australia.

"A COLONIAL NIGHT" is a non-stop, hilarious, full of entertaining antics and audience participative stage show production, set in the surrounds of a restaurant. The dinner theatre show allows you and the fellow audience to enjoy a 3-course lunch or dinner or just the amazing experience of the show. "A Colonial Night" Theatre Based Dining Experience debuted in Sydney on March of 2003. Since then thousands of people have enjoyed the antics of Sergeant Kennedy, Wilbur and Patrick Murphy (the convicts), Anne Fowles (the Wench) and the crazy British Soldiers. This is a 5-star critically acclaimed production constantly in demand throughout this land once known as Terra-Australis.

With our energetic cast, professionally written script and the on tuned visuals and sound effects, you will never have thought a night out could be so much fun.

"A COLONIAL NIGHT"! It’s exciting, interesting, provocative, dramatic, thrilling, sensational, rip-roaring and titillating.

A Colonial Night Interactive Dinner Theatre Show is not only the most amazing comedic show across Australia, it also is filmed and aired on the company TV Series "This is Australia" which is aired on Foxtel twice a week.

Picture yourself immersed in the hilarious behaviour of all these persons and enjoy a COLONIAL EXPERIENCE, as we take you back through the annual of time to the early Colony of New South Wales and delve into the lives of the characters and carry on of its folks.

Gents will be seduced by the lovely convict wench Ann Fowles as she works her magic of temptation all awhile keeping her eye on you as you keep your hand on your wallet.
Laugh and join forces with the larrikin convict James Murphy and Wilbur, as he spends his time using is Irish Wit to confuse, trick and belittle the British Soldiers.
If this is not enough then BOO the Sergeant, "Sergeant Kennedy". He’s mean and nasty, and you better be on your best behaviour or he will slap you in irons as fast as you can say Cat-o’-Nine Tails.
Help increase the size of the British Army in the recruitment process.
Be a character witness for James Murphy at his trial.
And don't get caught eyeing the wench or convict as you may be selected as a wife or husband in the amusing Convict Wedding scene.

The atmosphere of the show is lively and there is something to interest everyone. If you survive the re-enactments and pull yourself away from the live music and characters, you will be impressed with the Authentic 19th-century artifacts and props dating back to the period of 1770-1852.

The children felt like they were "in the moment" when stories were told. They thoroughly enjoyed volunteering for the various acting parts. It was a fun, humorous performance and the costumes and props were superb. Thank-you for giving the grade 5's such a memorable show..
