Schools, children, primary school students, adults and teacher will have exclusive, almost never before seen access to the nation‘s fledgling beginnings as a penal colony. The educational show is based on the Learning Outcomes of the Australian National Curriculum of Humanities and Social Sciences and the previous units of – “British Colonisation in Australia”, Stage 2 in the Human Society and Its Environment (HSIE) Syllabus.

Explains why terms such as ‘invasion’, ‘occupation’, ‘settlement’, ‘exploration’ and ‘discovery’ reflect different perspectives on the same event.
Demonstrates the establishment of a British colony — aspects of life, significant people (including Arthur Phillip), achievements, events and places.
Demonstrates how people the audience are learning about might feel/have felt by participating in activities such as roleplay, drama.
