Magic, puppetry, workshop, circus. A 90 minute event featuring a short magic show, followed by construction of paper puppets. Performed in a pantomime form with children responding to key words with sounds and actions. Our current performance (session sold out for the Adelaide Fringe 2014) of Jack and the Beanstalk. The giant appears on stilts. The children take ownership of the show and learn by doing and participating. Based on the principles of Schola Ludus, or school as play - a true and time-tested Czech tradition. The puppets themselves are simple and charming and invite the eye and the hand to take part in a journey of discovery and learning.
