Awesome day and very engaging!
We made the mistake of booking the wrong show. This one catered for the Year 4 curriculum and we had it booked for our Year 5. Regardless of our mistake, it was a fantastic show and we had a lot of fun!The Show and Event

The show was great and the kids really enjoyed it. It meshed seamlessly with what we had been studying in class. Thank you very much.
Iconic Colonial Day- General feedback from Teachers Positives: - relevant to age group - good connections to History outcomes and learning - good involvement of the students - ability for students to get a feel for what life was like in the colony - differentiated so that all students can be involved - learning across the KLA's - eg music, drama, Literacy, History, mathematics, - time for students to get up and move around - inside and outside activities Changes: - more emphasis on the ships of the first fleet and what they were carrying, who was in charge of each one, conditions on board etc - Not sure about the relevance of the flogging scene - especially as no one actually got flogged. This could be left out and a different scene could be substituted. - The wedding scene could come back in, as previously a part of the day. - more information about the "planting" of evidence in the hotel scene. The Show and Event

Kids loved it and gave positive feedback to parents. The Audience
The actors were fabulous. David was professional and kind in his dealings with us. The only negative thing about the whole experience was The risk assessment was very wordy but in this day and age we can understand. Lucky for us we have teachers who are resourceful and can resolve problems.
Very engaging actors. The students said they liked it because most of them were involved in something. The Show and Event

Personally I thought it was fantastic. The kids loved it while being educational and engaging. I have passed this along from one of my colleagues: I thought the show was really great. I liked how the music created an ambiance and the actors were top notch. I'm sure the children will remember it for a long time. The Audience
